 Valdaora
Wide roaming meadows, walking paths through the middle of fields and a fantastic landscape. An artificial lake, the Furkel mountain pass (1737 m), the old language and a section of the village that borders on the ladin territory, Plan de Corones and the first Dolomites.
All of the aforementioned provide the reasons why Valdaora is such a special and a fantstic place for relaxing in winter and in summer time. Valdaora also has a lot to offer: hotels, restaurants and numerous opportunities for entertainment.
In summer time this is an ideal area for excursions thanks to the wonderful panorama of the Dolomites, the Rieserferner mountain group and the Ziller Valley. From here you have an excellent view of the Puster Valley and the Aurina Valley. The Geisel mountain also lies in the vicinity of Valdaora, and this affords you the ideal starting point for walks and excursions.
Valdaora - History A long time ago, the Romans enjoyed living in this village and not much has changed since then. Valdaora can offer something for everyone: culture, nature and a lot of entertainment.
