The 26th May 2008 you can see the pros firsthand because the Giro d’Italia will take place again in the Pustertal Valley in 2008. The “Giro” will start in Sicily on 10th May and the 16th stage goal will be the 2,275-metre-high Kronplatz. |

At the Stegona market the scene is once again set for them: the stalls offering hot chestnuts at the beginning, the lady behind the clothes stall, the seller of leather jackets, the cheese seller, the stalls with mulled wine and “würstel”, the sellers of animals and the flashing lights of the funfair and finally the meeting place in the marquee. Why go to the '"Oktoberfest" in Munich or the “Prater” in Vienna? Shop, celebrate and have fun - all this and more can be done at the biggest Tyrolean market. So everyone down to the market as an old saying goes; Those who want a good winter should go to the Stegona market.
