The Plan de Corones holiday resort is amongst the areas with the most skilifts and slopes in the world and it is very well organized. The ski resort is part of the famous SUPERSKI DOLOMITI (12 ski resorts in Southtyrol - 460 skilifts - 1220 km of slopes) carrusel. In other words, you wont have to worry about the snow situation since a certain amount of snow can always be GUARANTEED thanks to a number of snow canons. The snowboarders will not only just find slopes of every grade of difficulty, but they will also find a slope where F.I.S. (Federation of Italian Snowboarding) races on the "Half-pipe" can be organized where 100 m have to be boarded in on a 15 m large ravine with approx. 3,5 meter high lateral walls and an average gradient of 20 %.
